Gold deals on Moscow Exchange triple to 46 tns in Jan–Aug

MOSCOW, Sep 4 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of gold deals on the Moscow Exchange almost tripled to 46 tonnes and of silver deals more than doubled to 95.8 tonnes in January–August, the bourse said in a statement on Monday.

In monetary terms, deals in both gold and silver grew to 247.9 billion rubles as compared with 66.4 billion rubles in the same period of 2022.

In August, gold deals amounted to 8.9 tonnes of gold and 16.2 tonnes of silver worth 53.5 billion rubles.
